SUNDAY 9th JANUARY

HEADLINES @ 0900Hrs
A snow shower just clipped us late evening, giving a very slight covering. A brush will suffice to remove it off paths & drives, but it's still very icy underneath. Minimum temperature last night -9.2, with the current value at -4.2.

PILOCHRY TODAY
Mostly dry & bright, with some sunny intervals. An isolated light snow shower is just possible.Still feeling cold, as the highest temperature struggles to make +1 or +2 degrees. (the heavier mid-morning snow shower was a bit of a surprise----should have checked http://www.raintoday.co.uk/

THIS EVENING & TONIGHT
Mostly dry with clear spells. Frost returning early on, with a frosty night in prospect, minimum temperature -6.

OUTLOOK
Still on course for less cold weather by mid-week, though the high ground may see further snow on occasions & it will become generally unsettled
