MONDAY 3rd JANUARY----EVENING UPDATE

UPDATE @ 1700Hrs----It's been an uneventful day weatherwise, with mainly cloudy skies but essentially dry. Fronts have been mowing from the NW, but the snow & rain have been petering out before reaching Pitlochry. The highest temperature was 3.0, while the temperature at 1700 Hrs was 1.9.
THIS EVENING & TONIGHT----Some rain may reach us for a while during the evening, but will die out later. The rest of the night will be partly cloudy with a W breeze, so temperatures should hold up between 0 & 1.

OUTLOOK FOR TUESDAY----Largely dry bright & breezy. There may just be an odd shower getting through from the W. A further spell of rain may reach the area during the evening. Maximum temperature around 4 or 5.
