WEDNESDAY 19th JANUARY

HEADLINES @ 0900Hrs
Quite a pleasant morning once again & although none too warm, it is actually just above freezing. Last night's lowest value was -2.3.

PILOCHRY TODAY
Another fine, dry day in prospect, with spells of sunshine. Once again, feeling rather cold, with highest temperatures around 4 degrees (the long-term average maximum temperature at this time of year is about 5.3)

THIS EVENING & TONIGHT
Dry, with long clear periods, leading to a sharp frost & probably some valley bottom mist or fog.  Lowest temperatures in the range -5 to -7.

OUTLOOK
High pressure will be firmly in control at least until the end of this week. This means a continuation of the present dry weather. There should be some sunshine at times, although weak fronts will, on occasions, give rather more cloudy spells.Temperatures will continue to be on the cold side by day, while most nights see a frost & perhaps mist patches.
