High pressure is centred over E. Europe, with a low over Mid-Atlantic. A mild southerly flow, with several fronts, will cover Britain over the next few days.

PITLOCHRY TODAY
A cloudy start, with a little left-over rain. Becoming brighter, especially from mid-morning to mid-afternoon, with some sunny spells. Maximum temperature up to 9 or 10. Becoming more cloudy again to end the day.

THIS EVENING & TONIGHT
Becoming quite wet during the evening & overnight. Mild & breezy from S or SW. Lowest temperatures 8 or 9.

FRIDAY
A mild & breezy day. Often rather cloudy, with some outbreaks of rain, but also some drier, brighter periods.  Maximum temperature up to a very mild 12 or 13.
