HEADLINES @ 0900Hrs
Not looking bad out there, with the first of some sunny intervals, Still mild too, with the thermometer already in double figures. There were 10.3mms in the gauge this morning from rain last evening & for a time in the night.

PITLOCHRY TODAY
Partly cloudy for much of the morning, though mainly dry, with a few sunny intervals. This afternoon should see more broken cloud & more in the way of sunshine. Winds mainly from the S & moderate in strength, with maximum temperatures reaching an above-average 12.

THIS EVENING & TONIGHT
Dry with some clear spells through the evening, with temperatures falling to a minimum of about 4 or 5. Later in the night, cloud is likely to increase & temperatures recover somewhat. There could just be an odd patch of drizzle.

SUNDAY
Pitlochry will be rather close to the boundary between a cloudy day in the east, perhaps with a little patchy drizzle & somewhat more broken cloud further north & west with some sunny intervals. Top temperature in the 10 to 12 range.   So hedging bets rather with this one; hope to firm up detail nearer the time, but my advice is to avoid the east coast for a day out on Sunday.
