HEADLINES @ 0845Hrs
A ridge of high pressure covers the U.K.   There are centres of low pressure over Iceland, Western Med. & Mid-Atlantic.   Braemar dropped to -5 overnight; here it was -2.0. Still misty at 0845 & no sign of Ben Vrackie, which I suspect will be in the clear above all the valley mist.

PITLOCHRY TODAY
Frost, mist & fog generally dispersing by or before 10am. A few spots in the area may take longer.  The day should then be dry with spells of sunshine. Following the cold start, much of Pitlochry will only see temperatures rise to about 7 or 8.

THIS EVENING & TONIGHT
All set for a repeat. Clear skies, very light winds, widespread frost & patches of mist & fog. Minimum temperatures likely to fall to -3 & ground temperatures to -6.

MONDAY
A very cold start, with mist & fog.  Blue skies & sunshine developing, but again, highest temperatures pegged back to around 7.      (Don't forget to click on the Met Office link above for a look ahead into what's likely from Tuesday onwards)
