HEADLINES @ 0900Hrs
Overcast with drizzle at present & no real cause for optimism about today.  However, overall, not a bad weekend lies ahead.  Parts of Northern & Western Scotland have been unseasonably good over recent days--they well deserve it!!

PITLOCHRY TODAY
Cloudy throughout, with cloud base on the hills. Some dry spells, but also some patches of light rain or drizzle, probably more so p.m. Breezy from the SE & maximum temperatures of 10.

THIS EVENING & TONIGHT
Remaining cloudy, with the rain becoming somewhat heavier & more persistent for a time this evening. Later in the night, dry & clearer conditions should replace the rain. It will be breezy, but mild with lowest temperatures about 8.

SATURDAY
After a cloudy start, perhaps even with the odd shower, the day should improve to give broken cloud & some sunshine.  It will be breezy, but mild, with a top temperature of about 12.
SUNDAY should be mild & breezy, with a mix of cloudy spells & brighter conditions with some sunshine.
