A WARM WELCOME TO PITLOCHRY WEATHER!
THE ONLY ONLINE WEATHER SERVICE WHERE THE OBSERVER LIVES & RECORDS IN PITLOCHRY, USING PREVIOUS MET OFFICE CLIMATE STATION EXPERIENCE. FORECASTING IS BASED ON MET OFFICE & BBC MATERIAL, WHICH IS THEN TAILORED FOR THE PITLOCHRY AREA, USING LOCAL KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE.    The WEEKEND should be mainly dry, partly cloudy with a little sunshine. It will also become somewhat milder again. Winds will be force 2 to 3 from the W, with maximum temperatures in the  7 to 8 region. Frost is likely to start off Saturday morning, is less likely on Sunday morning, though mist & fog may be more of an issue. NEXT WEEK is expected to start on a settled note.

The day will be partly cloudy, though there should be a few sunny intervals. There are showers around, especially this morning, but they shouldn't amount to much. It will certainly be windier than yesterday (WNW force 5 at times later) & this will help in making it feel colder ( max.temp about 6 ). It should be dry overnight with temperatures falling low enough for at least a ground frost.
