THE ONLY ONLINE WEATHER SERVICE WHERE THE OBSERVER LIVES & RECORDS IN PITLOCHRY, USING PREVIOUS MET OFFICE CLIMATE STATION EXPERIENCE. FORECASTING IS BASED ON MET OFFICE & BBC MATERIAL, WHICH IS THEN TAILORED FOR THE PITLOCHRY AREA, USING LOCAL KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE. Pressure will be generally low to the north of Scotland, maintaining a showery SW air flow. Most of the showers will fall over western areas, but occasionally, passing trough lines will encourage showers to spread further east, even giving rise to frequent & heavier showers affecting our area (this likely today for instance). Winds for a few days will remain in a W to SW direction, sometimes fresh (force 4 or 5). No major low pressure systems with active fronts & more extensive rain, threaten us until later on Sunday. There should be longer spells of dry weather, with only well-scattered showers, during Friday & for much of the weekend. Still rather cold by day & most nights having a touch of frost.
