A WARM WELCOME TO PITLOCHRY WEATHER!
THE ONLY ONLINE WEATHER SERVICE WHERE THE OBSERVER LIVES & RECORDS IN PITLOCHRY, USING PREVIOUS MET OFFICE CLIMATE STATION EXPERIENCE. FORECASTING IS BASED ON MET OFFICE & BBC MATERIAL, WHICH IS THEN TAILORED FOR THE PITLOCHRY AREA, USING LOCAL KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE.  High pressure is building over Britain from the SW, though occasional weak fronts from Icelandic depressions are clipping Scotland. By THURSDAY, we should be back in a cool, strong NW air stream, with winds in the range force 4 to 6. Apart from isolated am showers, it should be a dry day with good spells of sunshine, followed by a clear night, decreasing winds & a touch of frost. FRIDAY should be mainly dry though mostly rather cloudy & feeling a little milder (winds W 3 to 4 ). SATURDAY stays rather mild & mainly cloudy & there may be a little patchy rain on occasions, but amounting to little.

Generally more cloudy by afternoon, with a little patchy light rain by mid-afternoon, becoming rather more significant during the evening.
