A WARM WELCOME TO PITLOCHRY WEATHER!
THE ONLY ONLINE WEATHER SERVICE WHERE THE OBSERVER LIVES & RECORDS IN PITLOCHRY, USING PREVIOUS MET OFFICE CLIMATE STATION EXPERIENCE. FORECASTING IS BASED ON MET OFFICE & BBC MATERIAL, WHICH IS THEN TAILORED FOR THE PITLOCHRY AREA, USING LOCAL KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE.  Overall, an unsettled week over the British Isles, but Southern England more likely to catch the rain areas, leaving Scotland in more showery conditions, with the west catching the lion's share of the showers, & eastern areas, including Pitlochry, seeing some good dry spells & only scattered showers. Only Tuesday morning (at this stage) seems lined up for a band of rain in the morning. Throughout the week, winds will stay mainly in the SW, fresh(force 4) at times, helping to make it feel on the cold side. Most overnight periods will see lowest temperatures close to freezing point.

A dry day, with increasing amounts of sunshine. Winds NW 2 to 3 & maximum temperature close to 9. Overnight should stay dry with clear spells. Temperatures will fall close to freezing, though as clouds increase later, any frost should start to melt.

1625 hrs    Tomorrow's rain is expected to start off as sleet or snow, commencing around 0700hrs. Minimal accumulation at low altitudes. By the end of the morning, the rain should be clearing, but after a dry spell, there may well be a few showers pm.
