A WARM WELCOME TO PITLOCHRY WEATHER!
THE ONLY ONLINE WEATHER SERVICE WHERE THE OBSERVER LIVES & RECORDS IN PITLOCHRY, USING PREVIOUS MET OFFICE CLIMATE STATION EXPERIENCE. FORECASTING IS BASED ON MET OFFICE & BBC MATERIAL, WHICH IS THEN TAILORED FOR THE PITLOCHRY AREA, USING LOCAL KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE.   Very little in the way of rain in the days to come, though still somewhat unsettled. FRIDAY is expected to start chilly, though rather cloudy & misty. There may be a little patchy light rain on occasions, though amounts insignificant. It should become both less windy & milder than Thursday. Temperatures could approach double figures & fall little overnight with light to moderate breezes. SATURDAY looks like being mainly cloudy, though mild, with little sunshine to be had. Winds will be moderate to fresh, though overnight, with less cloud & wind, it should turn chilly with a ground frost by dawn. SUNDAY threatens to be cloudy, misty & feel colder again.  Some much colder weather is likely during next week!!

UPDATE    Most places will have at least a ground frost tonight, locally an air frost.   On Friday, most of us are likely to be plagued by misty low cloud or valley mist & fog bands, all of it reluctant to clear with light winds & perhaps a temporary inversion. Still feeling cold, though winds much lighter than today.Remaining mostly cloudy, but very little if anything in the way of rain.
Becoming much colder by next Tuesday, with some sharp overnight frosts.
