A WARM WELCOME TO PITLOCHRY WEATHER!

FORECASTING IS BASED ON MET OFFICE & BBC MATERIAL, WHICH IS THEN TAILORED FOR THE PITLOCHRY AREA, USING LOCAL KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE.  WEDNESDAY may start with a few rain showers, but should otherwise be dry with some sunshine later.Windy from the NW, but temperatures up a degree or two on today's. Overnight should be dry with broken cloud & a touch of ground frost.  THURSDAY is expected to be dry & bright with some sunshine. Windy at first, but becoming less so later in the day. Fine overnight with some air frost likely. FRIDAY looks fine with some sunshine, though still cold.

A wintry look to things this morning, following a slight snowfall yesterday evening.  TUESDAY should see good sunny spells for most of the day, though cloud may start to increase during the latter part of the afternoon. This will be followed by a spell of snow this evening, later turning to rain & dying out later in the night. Winds light from the west & temperatures struggling to reach much above 3, dipping to freezing by dawn tomorrow.
