A WARM WELCOME TO PITLOCHRY WEATHER!
THE ONLY ONLINE WEATHER SERVICE WHERE THE OBSERVER LIVES & RECORDS IN PITLOCHRY, USING PREVIOUS MET OFFICE CLIMATE STATION EXPERIENCE. FORECASTING IS BASED ON MET OFFICE & BBC MATERIAL, WHICH IS THEN TAILORED FOR THE PITLOCHRY AREA, USING LOCAL KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE.  A changeable outlook, with today probably the best day of the coming week. The first change comes overnight tonight, when a spell of rain will sweep in from the SW, with freshening winds & rising temperatures. Monday should see the thermometer in double figures, ( probably for the only time next week), with some light rain in the morning,  becoming drier & brighter for the afternoon. Tuesday will see stronger winds, making it feel colder again. Although dry & bright at times, there may be an odd shower. Wednesday may well be the worst day as far as cloud & rain are concerned. Though brighter on Thursday, it will be very windy from WNW (up to force 5 or 6).  Overall, maximum temperatures around 7, minimum 2 or 3, with only slight ground frosts likely.

TODAY'S FORECAST FOR PITLOCHRY
Not such a frosty start to the day. Sunday should remain dry with good spells of sunshine & maximum temperatures up to 7 or 8. Winds light & variable. This evening is likely to become frosty, perhaps with valley mist patches, but later on as cloud begins to increase, both wind & temperature should increase as fronts sweep in from the SW. There will be some rain to follow, lasting on & off from the early hours into tomorrow morning.
