A WARM WELCOME TO PITLOCHRY WEATHER!
THE ONLY ONLINE WEATHER SERVICE WHERE THE OBSERVER LIVES & RECORDS IN PITLOCHRY, USING PREVIOUS MET OFFICE CLIMATE STATION EXPERIENCE. FORECASTING IS BASED ON MET OFFICE & BBC MATERIAL, WHICH IS THEN TAILORED FOR THE PITLOCHRY AREA, USING LOCAL KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE.  (Leuchars reached 13.5 yesterday)  Pressure remains high to the S & low to the N. After any early mist, WEDNESDAY will remain mainly dry for most of daylight hours, though with increasing amounts of cloud. Rain is expected to set in by late afternoon, giving a wet evening, though becoming more showery overnight. Winds will increase later in the day. THURSDAY is expected to be largely dry with some sunny intervals, but it will be windy. FRIDAY should be mostly dry, though rather cloudy.   Throughout this period, daytime temperatures will be in a range 6 to 8, with nights down to 2 to 5, giving localised ground frost. Winds will be between WNW & SW, often up to force 4  or 5.
