LOCAL AREA OUTLOOK----FRI 13th to MON 16th JULY
This period is likely to be somewhat drier than of late, though no signs of any great warmth or prolonged sunshine at this stage. There will be cloudy periods at times, especially on Friday & again on Monday. Only small rainfall totals are expected over the period, mainly in the form of showers, though Monday is threatened with a longer period of rain. The weekend should be blessed with some sunny spells, but in common with other days, daytime temperatures will fail to reach normal values for July, with a fresh NW breeze at times.
Much improved over the last 2 days! The day will be mainly dry, with only a small risk of an odd shower. Though rather cloudy at times, there should be a few intervals of sunshine. Winds will be from the NW, force 2 or 3 & maximum temperatures should peak at about 17 (a couple of degrees below normal, but feeling pleasant enough in any sunshine.) Tonight should be dry with some cloud breaks & lowest temperatures around 7.
