LOCAL AREA OUTLOOK----WED.1st to Sat. 4th AUGUST
Pressure charts look somewhat unsettled for the start of August, with Wednesday likely to be the worst day of the period--overcast with spells of rain. Thursday should see an improvement, though some showers seem likely & this sets the theme for Friday & Saturday which will both be showery days, especially from late morning through to evening, with some heavy ones mixed in, though with considerable variations within short distances as to amounts of rain. Winds will be light to moderate from the SE, with daytime temperatures a couple of degrees below the early August average.
