Low pressure will dominate Scotland's weather & by the end of the period, a new low will start to move from the SW approaches into Britain, threatening more widespread rain. Much of the period will see broken cloud, some dry spells & a few sunny intervals. However, there will also be some showers about, with one or two heavy ones. Maximum temperatures will be a couple of degrees down on normal. There may be a longer period of rain by Tuesday night & during Wednesday.
