Pressure will start to build over France, but an Atlantic depression will head towards Iceland.& this will influence Scotland's weather on Sunday Friday & Saturday promise to be reasonable days in the area, with broken cloud, sunny intervals & dry for the most part. There is a low risk of the odd shower in the afternoons. Sunday threatens to be cloudy with spells of rain, though the heaviest falls will be further to the west. The period overall will be rather cool, with winds, brisk at times, from the W or SW.

Today in Pitlochry will see a big improvement on yesterday, with dry weather, broken cloud & sunny intervals this morning, but rather more cloud with perhaps the odd shower this afternoon.Winds will be force 3 or 4 from the NW & highest temperatures should reach 17 or 18 degrees. Dry with some clear spells tonight.
