After yesterday's rain, it may just about stay dry today. Though starting rather cloudy, there may be a few sunny intervals p.m. Feeling cool at 15 or 16 degrees, with winds from between NW & NE.  Tonight should begin dry with some clear spells, but later there is just a chance of some rain spreading up from the south, Fife being more vulnerable than our area.

LOCAL AREA OUTLOOK----MON. 9th to THURS. 12th JULY
Not all bad news, but nothing very exciting. The period is likely to be cool, with winds blowing from between N. & NW, giving best daytime temperatures around 13 to 17 degrees (normal is 19). Rainfall amounts probably won't be excessive, but most days will see at least a shower or two with the chance of some more cloudy spells with occasional rain. There will be some dry spells, though sunshine is likely to be in brief intervals. No promise at present of a spell of dry, hot & sunny conditions!
