The afternoon & evening are likely to see more cloudy skies, with possibly a few light showers, though there are likely to be one or two heavier showers scattered around, mainly over the upland areas to the north & east.As ever in showery conditions, a few places may keep mostly dry weather. Winds will be NW force 2 or 3 & highest temperatures will peak at around 16 degrees..The odd shower may linger after dark, but it should become mainly dry with some clear spells, with minimum temperature close to 8 or 9.

No heat waves lined up for the coming week & indeed, it will be rather unsettled, with cloudy skies & spells of mostly light rain or showers the order of the day. Sunshine amounts are expected to be in short supply, though on the positive side, rainfall totals are unlikely to be excessive. After today, winds are likely to be mainly from the S.E. Daytime temperatures are likely to be held at around 14 to 17 degrees.
