During this period, a depression will transfer slowly from W. of Ireland, moving first SE-wards, then NE-wards to be over Scandinavia by the weekend. A front associated with this system, will be slow-moving over Scotland. Each day is likely to see some rain or showers, mostly light, though perhaps some heavier outbreaks later in the week. Winds will remain between SE & NE, with temperatures starting out at 18, but falling back to 15 or 16 by day. Overnight, temperatures should remain in double figures. The emphasis will be on cloud, with sunshine at a premium.
