LOCAL AREA OUTLOOK----SAT.21st to TUES. 24th JULY
Pressure will become low over Iceland, but build to the S & S.E., keeping winds in a S.W. direction. It looks as if most of the time in the next 4 days will be dry, with the possible exception of parts of Sunday, when fronts will bring rain into Western Scotland & Pitlochry just getting the "left-overs"--rather cloudy, with patchy light rain.. Other than this, there should be some broken cloud with spells of sunshine & daytime temperatures close to normal, around 17 to 19. S.W. winds will be moderate to fresh.
Every chance that it will remain dry today, but there will be rather large amounts of cloud, though bright on occasions with some sunny intervals. Winds will be mainly light to moderate from W. or N.W. while max. temperatures reach close to 17 (a couple of degrees down on the July normal). Tonight should be dry with some clear spells & lows of about 7 or 8.
