TODAY'S FORECAST FOR PITLOCHRY
AVERAGES & EXTREMES IN JULY
For longer outlook periods, surface pressure charts, mountain weather & severe weather warnings, go to the Met Office's regional forecasts and click the relevant headings.
After a cloudy, misty, though very mild start, there should soon be some lifting & breaking of the cloud giving some intervals of sunshine. The air is moist & winds fairly light, so it will again feel pleasantly warm in the sunny breaks. There is, however,---as yesterday---a risk of scattered, perhaps heavy showers, though some places may escape altogether, while spots nearby get a drenching (keep an eye on the Met Office forecast radar). Maximum temperatures around 20, with another mild night in prospect.
