TODAY in PITLOCHRY---There was a cold start to the night, but a spell of cloud & rain since then, has pushed the temperature way above average yet again. So expect a largely dry, cloudy, but very mild day. At times, the cloud cover is likely to shroud the hills, making the day rather overcast. Winds will be light from the S, with temperatures peaking between 11 & 12 degrees. There is likely to be a little rain overnight, but it will stay mild.

FURTHER OUTLOOK----The weather will become less mild, with several depressions & their attendant fronts bringing rain & strong winds at times over the weekend period.
FRIDAY---Another mild day, though low cloud & some rain at times a.m. Brighter during the afternoon & clear at times overnight, with perhaps a touch of ground frost.
SATURDAY---A cold bright start, but by afternoon, clouds will be thickening & lowering to bring spells of rain. Less mild during the day, with winds increasing up to force 6 from  S/SW. There maybe a touch of ground frost by dawn.
SUNDAY---Temperatures back to normal. Mainly dry during daylight hours, but more rain & increasing S winds during the evening.
