A WARM WELCOME TO PITLOCHRY WEATHER!
THE ONLY ONLINE WEATHER SERVICE WHERE THE OBSERVER LIVES & RECORDS IN PITLOCHRY, USING PREVIOUS MET OFFICE CLIMATE STATION EXPERIENCE. FORECASTING IS BASED ON MET OFFICE & BBC MATERIAL, WHICH IS THEN TAILORED FOR THE PITLOCHRY AREA, USING LOCAL KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE.

PITLOCHRY TODAY----Still very mild (over 11 ) & likely to remain dry until later tonight.

Perhaps some brightness this afternoon, following a mainly cloudy morning. The thermometer should spend most of its time within a degree or so of 11 degrees. Winds S or SE force 3. Some rain overnight (much more further west) & following the rain, turning somewhat colder, though no frost expected.

FURTHER OUTLOOK
THURSDAY---Some light rain or drizzle at first, then dry, though staying rather cloudy. Spells of rain later in the evening & overnight. Remaining mild throughout, with winds between SW & SE force 2 or 3.
FRIDAY---Overcast with some rain at times through most of daylight hours. Staying mild. Winds S 3. The evening is likely to become dry with some cloud breaks & a fall in temperature. A ground frost is possible in prone spots by dawn.
SATURDAY---Bright& dry, but not as mild as recently (max.7). Some occasional rain expected overnight.

At present, no signs on the horizon for a "Pre-Christmas freeze-up"
