A WARM WELCOME TO PITLOCHRY WEATHER!
THE ONLY ONLINE WEATHER SERVICE WHERE THE OBSERVER LIVES & RECORDS IN PITLOCHRY, USING PREVIOUS MET OFFICE CLIMATE STATION EXPERIENCE. FORECASTING IS BASED ON MET OFFICE & BBC MATERIAL, WHICH IS THEN TAILORED FOR THE PITLOCHRY AREA, USING LOCAL KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE.  A good deal of dry weather is expected for the next few days (Tuesday excepted ). MONDAY is expected to be dry, though rather cloudy at times. Winds will be S to SW force 2 or 3 & max.temp. should reach 8, above the early Dec. average. TUESDAY threatens to be overcast with rain at times, especially p.m. However, it should be rather mild with W. winds only around force 2.  There may be a slight frost by morning. WEDNESDAY is expected to be a colder day, with frost & mist patches to start with.  It should, however, be bright & dry with some sunny intervals. Winds will tend to freshen during the day, becoming fresh to strong by evening.    LATE in THE WEEK, a temporary spell with an arctic maritime air stream threatens to affect the region.
