A WARM WELCOME TO PITLOCHRY WEATHER!
THE ONLY ONLINE WEATHER SERVICE WHERE THE OBSERVER LIVES & RECORDS IN PITLOCHRY, USING PREVIOUS MET OFFICE CLIMATE STATION EXPERIENCE. FORECASTING IS BASED ON MET OFFICE & BBC MATERIAL, WHICH IS THEN TAILORED FOR THE PITLOCHRY AREA, USING LOCAL KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE.

PITLOCHRY TODAY   (Glen Ogle--on A85 between Crianlarich & Lochearnhead has recorded a gust of 106mph)    Gusts in Pitlochry up to 50mph at first, gradually decreasing to 20mph or less by midnight.   The highest temperatures of the day are now(about 5), but by mid-afternoon, they will have fallen to 0 or -1, so with a fresh NW wind, feeling bitingly cold by then. There may be an odd shower around(of snow later--amounts very little), but much of the day should be dry & bright. Frosty tonight.  

FURTHER OUTLOOK
FRIDAY---A good deal of dry, bright weather, but very cold (max temp 0)   Winds lighter (force 3) but accentuating the arctic cold).  Isolated snow showers possible & perhaps some light snow for a time overnight--amounts negligible.
SATURDAY---Mainly dry, rather cloudy & cold (max. temp. 4, but rising overnight. Winds moderate W to SW.
SUNDAY----Mainly cloudy with a little occasional rain.  Milder, winds W to SW moderate to fresh.
