A WARM WELCOME TO PITLOCHRY WEATHER!
THE ONLY ONLINE WEATHER SERVICE WHERE THE OBSERVER LIVES & RECORDS IN PITLOCHRY, USING PREVIOUS MET OFFICE CLIMATE STATION EXPERIENCE. FORECASTING IS BASED ON MET OFFICE & BBC MATERIAL, WHICH IS THEN TAILORED FOR THE PITLOCHRY AREA, USING LOCAL KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE.   A very disturbed spell of weather threatens & it will also become very cold by Friday.  WEDNESDAY should be mostly dry, with broken cloud & sunny intervals. Despite this, it will be a colder day for the most part (up to 4).  Winds will need watching; after a fresh breeze for most of daylight hours, some increase is expected later in the evening, with gusts up to gale force 8 overnight (from the W).  THURSDAY starts with SEVERE GALES (from the W.) & GUSTS ARE PREDICTED TO APPROACH 60mph on occasions during the morning.  During the afternoon, winds will veer to the NW & decrease a little. The day will start mild, but temperatures will fall to -3 or so by dawn on Friday.    FRIDAY is expected to be very cold, with temperatures struggling to reach freezing point, though it will be mainly dry with some sunshine at times, though just the chance of a snow shower.      (THAT'S MORE THAN ENOUGH FOR NOW!! )

Cloudy throughout. There could be some very light & patchy spits of rain at any time, but probably more likely late afternoon & early evening, when it may be more significant for an hour or two. Winds mostly SW 2 or 3. Fairly mild during the day (up to 8), though becoming colder overnight, with a touch of frost by dawn.
