As the morning goes on, winds will slowly moderate & veer more NW, though gusts could still exceed 30mph & temperatures will continue to fall, back below zero for the afternoon. As the morning's rain begins to die out, some of it may turn to snow for a while, but accumulations are not expected to amount to much.
FRIDAY will be very cold, with temperatures remaining below zero throughout. There should be plenty of dry, bright weather with some sunshine. The NW wind will be fresh in strength, but bitingly cold. The odd snow shower is possible, the highest risk being overnight, but again, no significant amounts are expected.
WEEKEND--Calming down & gradually becoming less cold.
