Our day in FLAM (Norway) turned out very wet. Our guide on the afternoon excursion, (which stopped at the base of this impressive waterfall), said she had brought a party of visitors here in the morning & at that time, the falls had only about half the volume.(So the rain wasn't all negative!)
Roads out of Flam use tunnels as the obvious response to being circled by high, steep land.
