LOCAL AREA OUTLOOK----WEDNESDAY to SATURDAY
WEDNESDAY should bring to an end, the several settled days we have seen of late. It will be dry with some sunshine, with temperatures reaching 10 or 11.  We should, however, be spared a frost, as cloud will increase overnight.
THURSDAY will become overcast, with spells of rain, this becoming heavier & persistent during the afternoon.
FRIDAY & SATURDAY  Will continue to be rather unsettled as low pressure sits close to Eastern Scotland.  Friday is likely to start with an over-hang of Thursday's rain, while Saturday sees a number of showers. Both days should also see some drier spells, with small amounts of sunshine, as well as winds from a SE direction on Friday become from a W direction on Saturday & rather stronger than of late.
