LOCAL AREA OUTLOOK---SATURDAY to TUESDAY
The WEEKEND should be dry with some sunshine, though probably more cloud around on Sunday. Winds will be force 2 or 3, from the NW on Saturday & N or NE on Sunday. Max. temps around 11 or 12, with a chance of a slight frost for early Sunday.
The MONDAY/TUESDAY forecast contains rather more doubt. The BBC(Pitlochry) is going for 2 cloudy days with light rain for much of the time. The Met. Office favours 2 mainly dry days, with rain moving up from the south eventually.
Looking at surface pressure charts, with longer-term rainfall predictions, I think the Met office has the better call on this one & both days may stay completely dry. In any event this forecast, as usual, will be updated each day!
