LOCAL AREA OUTLOOK----FRIDAY to MONDAY
One cold front overnight has slightly opened the door to much colder weather & a second one later today, will finish the job!
So a shock to the system on FRIDAY, with a very cold, though dry day, with some sunshine & excellent visibility. Best temperatures may not better just 4 degrees with frost overnight  SATURDAY should be similar, still very cold & perhaps rather more cloud.      SUNDAY & MONDAY are likely to be a few degrees less cold, but more cloudy, with some rain likely, more especially on Sunday, as a depression & fronts move across from the west.

Some of the high ground N & E of Pitlochry may see light snowfalls from tonight & we may see the odd flurry.
