LOCAL AREA OUTLOOK----THURSDAY to SUNDAY
THURSDAY--More cloudy & probably overcast later in the day. Small amounts of rain are expected in the first part of the day, but it is likely to become generally wet by evening & into the night.
FRIDAY will stay unsettled with low pressure close by. Further rain or showers are expected.
SATURDAY& SUNDAY should see some improvement, though low pressure will linger close to Scotland. Much of both days should see lengthy dry spells, though perhaps not a great deal of sunshine. There may be a few showers on Sunday.

It will be rather cold generally with winds between W & N , fresh in strength, from Friday onwards.
