WEDNESDAY 6th JULY----EVENING

UPDATE @ 1730Hrs
Between 0900H & 1730H, 14.9mms of rain has fallen, to add to the 11.8mms that fell last night. Those two totals alone are equivalent to 45% of an average full month's total for July. Today's maximum temperature only reached 14.0 degrees, the coolest day since June 21st.

THIS EVENING & TONIGHT
The continuous rain is likely to be replaced by more showery rain as the evening goes on, with a few dry spells in between. Nevertheless, the situation is still very unsettled & more is likely to be added to the rainfall total by morning.
Minimum temperature around 10 degrees.

OUTLOOK
Low pressure will continue dominating the weather situation for some days to come. Frequent showers are expected, sometimes heavy, but interspersed with more broken cloud & a little sunshine at times. Maximum temperatures should gradually rise from today's low figure towards 18 or 19 degrees by the weekend.
