Rannoch is one of the most desolate & remote stations on the entire U.K. network. Here the morning sleeper is seen arriving, on time, from London Euston. What a massive change of environment it must prove for those who boarded at Euston & are now about to alight here! Once out of the station, a notice indicates a welcome to Perth & Kinross, but its still a long, lonely road to Kinloch Rannoch & eventually, Pitlochry.
