SATURDAY 9th JULY----EVENING

UPDATE @ 1630Hrs
There were some good spells of sunshine this morning & the maximum temperature of 20.4 occurred then. Skies turned more threatening this afternoon & around 1530Hrs, we caught one of the heavier showers, though only giving 0.9mms. A rainfall radar map showing the situation on a separate posting below,  indicates how valuable it is to click on rain today, particularly in these showery situations.

THIS EVENING & TONIGHT
Some further showers are likely, particularly in the early part of the evening. Some will be heavy, as is the case at the moment (1630). Later on, showers should largely die out, to give some clear spells. Overnight minimum about 10.

OUTLOOK
SUNDAY is expected to be much like today, with some sunshine & broken cloud during the morning, but an increased shower risk by the afternoon. Maximum temperature around 18 or 19 degrees.
MONDAY is likely to see the odd shower around, but the next couple of days should see something of a temporary respite from the unsettled conditions.
