THURSDAY 14th JULY----EVENING

UPDATE @ 1730Hr
The morning, much as the previous day, proved to have the lion's share of the sunshine, with rather cloudy skies during the afternoon. The odd light shower developed & a few are still around, but it remained dry in Pitlochry. The maximum temperature rose to 21.6 degrees, making it the 4th warmest day of the year so far (not a lot to get excited about there!)

THIS EVENING & TONIGHT
The evening is likely to remain dry, but rather cloudy. Some clear spells are expected during the night, with lowest temperatures around 10 degrees.

OUTLOOK
FRIDAY should start off with some sunshine, but a deterioration is likely as the day goes on, with more cloud around by afternoon & the prospect of some lightish rain later. Highest temperatures will be down on today's, at about 18 degrees.
THE WEEKEND threatens to be unsettled with spells of rain & below normal temperatures. Low pressure will be situated right over Scotland.
