Pressure is falling, as a temporary ridge of high pressure is replaced with a centre of low pressure. Certainly summer is on hold in our area for several days to come!

Dry & bright this morning, with partly cloudy skies & some intervals of sunshine,. During the afternoon, there will be more cloud generally & by early evening, there is likely to be some light rain into the area.  Maximum temperatures down a bit on yesterday's.

THIS EVENING & TONIGHT
Cloud lowering, with rain at times, mainly light. Lowest temperatures in double figures.

OUTLOOK
THE WEEKEND will be unsettled with spells of rain interspersed with sunny intervals & showers. Becoming windier & cooler, as low pressure settles over Scotland.
