TUESDAY 12th JULY----EVENING

UPDATE @ 1745Hrs
High pressure is now centred over Scotland, but although the very unsettled weather of recent days has been rather more benign today, conditions have been nothing to write home about, with rather large amounts of cloud & highest temperatures about 4 degrees below the norm. for time of year.

THIS EVENING & TONIGHT
One or two light showers are tracking north - south well to the west of us. The period should be dry, though mostly rather cloudy, just a few overnight breaks. Minimum temperatures around 8 or 9 degrees.
OUTLOOK
WEDNESDAY will, hopefully, be one of the better days this week, with some sunshine, especially during the morning, but rather more cloudy during the afternoon. With light winds, it will feel warm in the sunshine, with temperatures a few degrees up on today's.
THURSDAY should be dry with some sunshine, but during FRIDAY, the weather will begin to go downhill, with low pressure & fronts dominating the scene.
