SUNDAY 10th JULY

HEADLINES @ 0900Hrs
The weather charts look somewhat tamer now than was the case for much of last week. A ridge of high pressure is building for the middle of next week & we should begin to see the last of the downpours, remembering, of course, that some places fared a lot worse than Pitlochry.      It's quite a pleasant start, but the sharp showers are not over just yet!

PITLOCHRY TODAY
There was a shower around 0700Hrs, but it is now likely to be dry for a time, until cloud begins to bubble up, producing a few more showers for the afternoon & evening. Some spots may receive a downpour, others may largely escape. It will feel quite warm in any sunny intervals, as temperatures peak at around 19 or 20 degrees. Winds will be light to moderate W to SW.

THIS EVENING & TONIGHT
There will be some further showers around, especially to the east of Pitlochry. Minimum temperatures will remain in double figures.

OUTLOOK
MONDAY should see broken cloud, some sunny spells, but the risk of a few showers continues.
THEREAFTER, there should be more in the way of dry weather & sunny spells, as high pressure starts to build.
