UPDATE @ 1745Hrs
The morning was largely dry & cloudy, though it was often bright, with a watery sun trying to shine through. The afternoon saw thicker cloud & there was a short spell of light rain for a time this afternoon--rather more further to the east. Temperatures at best were 4 degrees down on yesterday at 18.2 degrees.
THIS EVENING & TONIGHT
A cloudy evening & night. There will be dry spells, especially during the evening, but overnight, it is likely to turn wet, as an active front becomes slow-moving over the area. Lowest temperatures staying in double figures.
OUTLOOK
WEDNESDAY is expected to be dull with spells of rain with some rather large totals likely.
THE REST OF THE WEEK is likely to stay unsettled with showers & one or two longer spells of rain.
