THURSDAY 14th JULY

HEADLINES @ 0900Hrs
A beautiful start to the day, but it came within a whisker of a ground frost here around dawn.

PITLOCHRY TODAY
A dry morning with sunny spells & quickly- rising temperatures. This afternoon is likely to be rather more cloudy, with the outside chance of a shower & still with some intervals of sunshine. Maximum temperatures should reach an above-average 21 degrees

THIS EVENING & TONIGHT
 A dry evening & night are expected, with further sunshine followed by some clear spells. It shouldn't be as cool as the night just gone, minimum around 8 or 9 degrees.

OUTLOOK
FRIDAY should be mainly dry, but more cloud around later, with perhaps some showers. Also feeling cooler.
THE WEEKEND will be unsettled, with stronger winds than of late & spells of rain or showers.  Temperatures a little below normal.
