Today has been showery, though Pitlochry has escaped the worst (There were several heavy showers around House of Bruar late morning & lunchtime). Currently, there is a line of showers to our west, tracking north. Cloudy skies have tended to dominate, with little in the way of sunshine. Between now & Sunday, a low pressure system will amble across Britain from SW to NE, ending up over Norway by Sunday.
THIS EVENING & TONIGHT
Perhaps the odd shower this evening, but a good deal of dry weather with sunny ints, followed by clear spells. Minimum temperature around 9 degrees.
OUTLOOK
FRIDAY should start dry with some sunshine.There may be an odd shower during the afternoon. A degree or two warmer.
THE WEEKEND will see some dry weather with sunny intervals, but afternoon showers are likely, especially on Saturday. Maximum temperatures in the range 17 to 19 degrees.
