THE GENERAL SITUATION
Pressure is low to the north of Scotland & high to the west of Spain. A rather cold W to NW air flow covers Britain

PITLOCHRY on SATURDAY
A day of broken cloud, with some intervals of sunshine, but also a few showers. These are likely to be of rain or sleet, with snow above about 250 to 300ms. W to NW winds will be fresh to strong (force 4 to 6 ) at first, easing somewhat during the day. Maximum temperatures will reach around 5 degrees.
TONIGHT--Clear & mainly dry for a time, but a spell of rain or sleet  overnight, clearing by or before dawn. Temperatures falling close to zero, so a risk of some icy stretches by morning

PITLOCHRY on SUNDAY
A mostly dry day, with some sunny spells & few, if any, showers. Any isolated showers could be of a wintry mix.  Winds W to NW force 3 or 4 & maximum temperatures around 4 or 5.
