PITLOCHRY YESTERDAY
The daytime temperature yesterday failed to reach zero, but it has done so overnight. In similar vein, the temperature overnight fell early on to about -4, but has since risen to just above freezing. The minimum for the 24hr period, however, occurred around 0900hrs yesterday morning!

THE GENERAL SITUATION
The high pressure which has given us cold, settled weather, is now over France & moving away. This will allow Atlantic winds bearing fronts to take over.

PITLOCHRY on TUESDAY
Today is expected to be more cloudy than yesterday, though it should occasionally be bright & remain dry. Winds should still be light, though mainly from the S or SW. It will be less cold, with a maximum of around 4.
TONIGHT
It should be mainly cloudy, with some patchy light rain later, not amounting to much. It will be much milder than on previous nights, with a minimum of around 2.

WEDNESDAY'S OUTLOOK
Perhaps a little rain around to start with, but then mainly dry if rather cloudy. Milder, with a maximum of 7, with moderate to fresh SW winds.
