CIRROSTRATUS CLOUD is a thin layer of whitish, transparent cloud, typically at about 25,000ft.It often makes the sun or moon look watery, perhaps with a halo present.This sort of cloud is often the forerunner of an approaching warm front, especially if it gradually lowers & becomes greyer.
