TODAY'S FORECAST FOR PITLOCHRYThe best time to have cleared last evening's "unexpected" snow, was last evening!!! This morning, things are dreadful for clearing cars, paths & drives, now covered by very icy snow----I was battling to do it at 7am!! But at least temperatures are now in positive territory. Quite a good day in prospect, with some sunshine, though an odd shower (probably of rain or sleet) is just possible. In the main, though, a lot of dry weather. Temps. a few degrees above freezing, but feeling cold in a moderate W. wind. AFTER DARK, mainly dry with clear spells & a frost.

LOCAL AREA OUTLOOK
SATURDAY----A rather cloudy day, with small amounts of rain (this may be wintry early on). The afternoon should be drier than the morning. Feeling rather less cold, as moderate W. winds bring temperatures up to the dizzy heights of 4 or 5 (The lying snow tends to play a part in restricting temperature rises)
SUNDAY----Mainly dry with some sunshine at times. Breezy from the NW, but feeling less cold.
Unfortunately, a return to colder conditions later next week!!
