TUESDAY---Mainly dry, but rather cloudy, with maximum temperature around 3 or 4 degrees. Some valley-side fog bands expected.
WEDNESDAY---Mainly cloudy, though dry for much of the day. Rain, with freshening SE winds, are expected to spread from the S. late in the day, persisting through the evening.

There is expected to be a spell of rain for part of the morning, though later, rain will become lighter & more patchy, with cloud lifting somewhat during the afternoon, though any sunshine is likely to be at a premium.
