There is expected to be a spell of rain for part of the morning, though later, rain will become lighter & more patchy, with cloud lifting somewhat during the afternoon, though any sunshine is likely to be at a premium. Winds will be generally light & settling more into the NE as the day goes on. Best temperatures should reach around 5, which is close to the seasonal normal.  AFTER DARK, it will be mostly dry, with some clear spells, which are likely to allow minimum temperatures to end up close to freezing. Valley mist & fog patches also seem likely.

WEDNESDAY---Mainly cloudy, though dry for much of the day. Rain, with freshening SE winds, are expected to spread from the S. late in the day, persisting through the evening.
